Components
Specify drug if known. This panel includes chlordiazepoxide, diazepam, nordiazepam, n-desalkylflurazepam, oxazepam, lorazepam, alprazolam, clonazepam, and temazepam. If temazepam or any other benzodiazepine is detected, it will also be reported. Low dose benzodiazepines such as alprazolam may not be detected unless serum levels are above the therapeutic range.

Specimen Required
Draw blood in a plain red-top tube. Centrifuge, separate and send 1.0 mL serum (0.2 mL minimum) refrigerated in a screw-capped plastic vial.
