Specimen Required
Draw blood in a plain red-top tube. Centrifuge, separate serum from cells and freeze within 2 hours. Send 2.0 mL (0.5 mL minimum) frozen in a screw-capped plastic vial. CRITICAL FROZEN.

Alternate Specimen
Plasma: Lavender EDTA; sodium heparin, potassium oxalate or sodium fluoride

Rejection Criteria
SST tube, sodium citrate, ACD A or B, whole blood
