Specimen Required
Digene cervical sampler in Digene specimen transport medium.
ThinPrep® Pap Test specimen transport media (4.0 mL minimum)
Tri Path SurePath specimen transport media (2.5 mL minimum)
Cervical biopsies (up to 5 mm in diameter) in Digene specimen transport medium (frozen at -20°C).

Rejection Criteria
Swabs, samples from males, and specimens sent in other liquid cytology systems will not be tested. Tissue biopsies submitted in ThinPrep or other non-approved transport media will not be tested.
