N-METHYLHISTAMINE, RANDOM, URINE

Components
Patient must not be taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or aminoguanidine as these medications increase N-methylhistamine levels.

Specimen Required
Collect a random urine specimen within a few hours of symptom onset. Send 5.0 mL urine (3.0 mL minimum) refrigerated in a screw-capped plastic vial.
