Specimen Required
Patient Preparation:
1. Test should not be performed on persons with total cystectomy.
2. Urine sample should be collected at least 5 days after invasive procedures such as cystoscopy or catherization.
Collect a single void of urine between midnight and noon. Stabilize 10 mL urine (5.0 mL minimum) immediately using the NMP22 Urine Collection Kit available from Warde Medical Laboratory and send sample refrigerated. Keep stabilized sample away from heat and sunlight. Stabilized samples may remain at room temperature up to 96 hours before testing.
