Patient Preparation: Patient must fast overnight. Draw blood in a lavender EDTA tube. Keep sample cold until centrifugation. Centrifuge, separate and send 3.0 mL plasma (0.35 mL minimum) frozen in a screw-capped plastic vial. CRITICAL FROZEN.
