Specimen Required
Patient Preparation: Patient should fast overnight for 12 hours and should not consume alcohol for 24 hours prior to blood draw.
Specimen: Draw blood in a SST. Centrifuge, remove serum from cells within 1 hour of collection. Send 1.0 mL serum (0.6 mL minimum) frozen in an amber screw-capped vial. PROTECT FROM LIGHT.
