Specimen Preparation
Allow sample to clot for 30 minutes, centrifuge, separate serum from cells within 2 hours by carefully pouring serum into an aliquot tube. Send 1.0 mL serum in a screw capped plastic vial. Do not insert a pipette into the serum to remove from cells. Do not ream with wooden stick.
