Specimen Preparation:  Mix well and send 3.0 mL urine in a screw capped plastic urine cup.

Minimum Volume: 1.0 mL

Rejection Criteria:

Urine catheter cup (with needle)
Urine collected in unspecified container.

Stability:

Room temperature: 2 days
Refrigerated: 7 days
Frozen: 14 days

Turnaround Time: 2 – 5 days
