Send 3.0 mL amniotic fluid at room temperature in a screw capped plastic vial. Gestational age (13 - 24 weeks) must be provided for interpretation of results. Completed Warde Medical Laboratory Cytogenetic Prenatal Test Requisition required. Avoid contaminating fluid with blood.
