Serum separator tube (SST)
Specimen Preparation
Clot specimen completely (up to 1 hour). Centrifuge, separate serum from cells within 30 minutes and send 1.0 mL serum in a plastic, sterile, screw capped vial. Separate specimen must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered. CRITICAL FROZEN.
