Lavender EDTA
Specimen Preparation
Collect EDTA from patient and control from a nonrelated, nonsmoking person. Send 4.0 mL whole blood in original collection tubes. Tubes must arrive refrigerated within 72 hours of collection. Label control tube clearly on outermost label "normal control". Collect sample Sunday - Thursday only.
