CD10A – “Clinical Urine Drug Abuse Screen 10A”

Update to specimen requirements and methodology.

Specimen Preparation: Send 30.0 mL urine in a screw capped plastic urine container. Pediatric: Newborn minimum requires 1.0 mL urine. All positive screen results are considered presumptive results except for amphetamines and PCP, which are confirmed to ensure accuracy of screening result.

This panel is NOT designed to detect low levels of buprenorphine, fentanyl, meperidine, oxycodone or tramadol. See the PN03A panel if these tests are required. 

Minimum Volume: 15.0 mL

Methodology: Liquid Chromatography/Tandem Mass Spectrometry
