Patient Preparation: This test should not be used for patients being treated with estradiol supplements, or if a highly sensitive/ultrasensitive method is needed. An alternative method, such as LC/MS, should be used instead. Please see Estrogens, Total, and Fractionated, LC/MS/MS (ESTM) or contact the lab for alternate test information.
